  • Thank you for applying for the Compeer Financial High School Senior Scholarship. Compeer Financial is proud to invest in the future of agriculture and rural America.

    PROGRAM: Provides 105 individual $2,000 scholarships to students who reside in the 144-county service territory of Compeer Financial within Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin . (Click here to see a map of Compeer Financial's service territory.) The scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who have been accepted or will enroll at a university, college or community/technical college. Eligible applicants will have a 3.0 or better GPA (on a 4.0 scale), reside in Compeer’s service territory, and have a designated agriculture major, interest in an agriculture-related field, or have an agricultural or rural background.

    *Dependents of Compeer Financial team members and board members are not eligible.

    EVALUATION CRITERIA: Evaluation will be based on a combination of academic achievement, agricultural and community youth organization involvement, goals and essay.

    • Applications will be evaluated by a review committee of Compeer team members. This is a competitive scholarship program. Not all eligible applicants will be awarded a scholarship.
    • Three scholarships are intended to support students from the metropolitan regions of Compeer’s territory in the following counties: Cook County, IL; Hennepin and Ramsey Counties, MN; and Milwaukee County, WI.
    • Special consideration will be given to applicants who are dependents of Compeer Financial clients.

    DEADLINE: Applications must be submitted by 11:59PM February 15, 2026. All applicants will be notified of their status 6 weeks after the deadline. All applications must be submitted through this online application.

    APPLICATION INFORMATION: Review the following information before submitting your application.

    • Obtain a current official transcript to upload, .pdf preferred. Must include cumulative GPA and all completed high school semesters.
    • Prepare Involvement List: Review the Involvement section of the application. Each area should list unique and detailed activities and not repeat across the areas.
    • Prepare Goals: Review the Goals section of the application.
    • Prepare Essay: Review the Essay section of the application. Choose one essay question from the two prompts. Write a thoughtful and unique response, with proper grammar and spelling.
    • Photo: Optional. Review the information for including a senior picture with the application.

    SAVE: Use the 'Save' button at the end of the application any time you need to save your progress and return later. The Jotform® platform will prompt you to do one of the following: sign up with email, log in, or Skip Create an Account. If you do not have a Jotform® account or do not want to create one, choose 'Skip Create an Account'. You will then be able to email yourself a link to access the saved application later. You may need to check your spam or junk folder for the email.

    SUBMIT: After clicking 'Submit', a Thank You page will appear confirming your application has been submitted. You will also receive an email containing the completed application for your records. You may need to check your spam or junk folder for the email. Review the application carefully and use the Edit Submission link to make any changes before the deadline.
