The mission of the Community Building Grant Program is to support brick and mortar projects, which allow cross sections of community members to gather or provide opportunities for education and showcase agriculture across our 144 county service area.
- Projects must demonstrate fulfillment of a need in a rural community, or serve agriculture or farmers.
- Funds must be for contstruction of a new facility or major renovations of an existing facility.
- Project must demonstrate substantial community support, including other financial commitments.
- Funding is not for private, commercial, business or for-profit undertakings.
- Funds are not for debts already incurred.
- Requests may be partially funded.
- Projects in early planning stag may receive a pledge of our commitment, with dollars awarded at groundbreaking.
